Onboarding — before Module 1
Hello, crew member. Welcome to Mission Totality.
(draft) On 2 August 2027, the Moon will cover the whole Sun over Tarifa — and you will be there, watching with your crew. This is your training mission: little modules, quizzes and real measurements, one step at a time, from today to the big day.
Grown-ups: this takes ~5 minutes…
(draft) Your child will make a crew profile: a nickname and a 4-digit PIN — no email, no account anywhere. Then they pick an avatar, a crew role and where they will watch, read the crew pledge, and take a short 5-question quiz. If they already played as a guest on this device, their stamps come along automatically.

The crew pledge
I promise to look after my eyes. I will never look at the Sun without my eclipse glasses — except when Mission Control says it is safe. I promise to be curious, to ask questions, and to help my crew. The Sun is always on. So is my brain.
